Events: Golf, one round. Mens and Womens Divisions, and all players will compete in their own age groups: 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+. Your age is determined by your age as of Dec 31, 2024. This is a qualifying tournament for players 50 and older, and allows those qualifying players to go to the 2025 NSGA National Senior Games in Des Moines, Iowa, per NSGA rules.

New tee times are listed below.Please read the following:We are looking forward to seeing you at the 2024 Arkansas Senior Olympics Golf Tournament, this Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Arkansas.Address: 34 Cypress Creek Crossing, Cabot, AR 72023Phone: (501) 605-80008:00am: Pro Shop opens.As a reminder when you arrive you will first need to check-in at the Pro Shop and pay the $30 Green and Cart Fee. They will need to check your name off their list once paid.
- Range balls cost extra and can be paid for in the Pro Shop.
Carts will be assigned and will have your name on it. Pick up the key at Pro Shop
- Be sure to find your cart partner if you have one.
8:45am – 10:30am Arkansas Senior Olympics Check-in at Overlook Pavilion across the parking lot from the Pro Shop.
- You must check-in before playing
- We will Provide any additional information (contest rules, local rules, etc..)
- We will hand out t-shirt
- Note: The Overlook Pavilion will be our headquarters for the golf tournament.
9:30am. Tee times start on hole #1: Arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled tee time.

Lunch: Jersey Mike’s (includes sandwich, chips and a cookie). We will have bottled waters. Pick up at the turn in the Overlook Pavilion (one sandwich, chip, and cookie per player please)Note: Cypress Creek does not have water stations on the golf course, so prepare accordingly.Contests: $10,000 Hole-in-one (Hole #9), Bonus Hole-in-one for the remaining Par 3’s (choice of Scotty Cameron putter, Yeti Tundra 75 Cooler, Bushnell Range Finder)
Awards: Awards will be handed out as soon as all players in each age group have completed their round, signed and turned in their score card at the Overlook Pavilion. We will do our best to speed things along.
Sport Rules:
- The Tournament will be 18 holes medal play. Handicaps will not be used.
- USGA rules will govern play and local rules will be in effect.
- Ball will play where it lies and putts will be holed out. Triple bogey is the highest score allowed on any hole. If you reach a triple bogey, write it as your score and go onto the next hole.
- Caddies are not permitted as participants must ride in a cart
- Coaching is not allowed
- Pace of play will be monitored. Keeping up with the group in front of you is the key to staying in position. Don’t look for a ball for more than 3 minutes.
- Range finders are permitted but must not be in the slope mode.
- In the event of a tie for 1st through 4th place, the USGA tie-breaking procedure of matching score cards will be followed.
- The winner in each age and gender qualifies to compete in the 2025 National Senior Games.
- Athletes who meet the Minimum Performance Standard for their age and gender also qualify.
- If an out-of-state athlete takes the first-place position, then an Akansas resident will also qualify for the 2025 National Senior Games. The NSGA definition of an athlete’s state of residence is that state in which the athlete resides at least six months of the year.

All first place winners or athletes meeting this sport’s NSGA minimum performance standards in competition at a 2024 NSGA qualifying games will qualify for the 2025 National Senior Games. Qualifiers will be determined by 18-hole (not two rounds of a 9-hole course) gross score played on a course with a minimum par of 70 and a United States Golf Association (USGA) slope rating between 119 and 126 for men and between 113 and 120 for women. Handicap scores are not acceptable for qualifying. |
