  2.  Athletes may compete with only one partner per event. Under NSGA rules, doubles and mixed doubles are classified as events. Therefore, athletes may not compete in more than one age division for doubles or mixed doubles.
  3. The ASO Tennis Director(s) reserve the right to change the tournament format for any age division based on entry
numbers, space restrictions, or other circumstance.
  4.  DOUBLES INFO: The age division of competition for doubles will be determined by the lower age of the two partners as of Dec 31, 2026.   If doubles players are in 2 different age divisions (ie. one player is in the 60-64 age division and the other is in 55-59), then GO AHEAD AND REGISTER in your OWN AGE DIVISION… and then AFTER BOTH players have registered THEN the database will PAIR both players up in the appropriate age division.  (ie.  in the example 2 age groups for doubles; 60-64 and 55-59,  after both players register…. both players will then be placed in the 55-59 age division.)
  5.  All matches will be conducted in accordance with United States Tennis Association (USTA) rules, except as
    modified.
  6. The scoring format for all singles and doubles matches will be two out of three tiebreak sets, in the event of split sets, a match tiebreak (first to 10 points win by 2) will be played. There will be no full third sets. The only exception to this is that it may be modified in accordance with Format, Item 3 above.
