How do I qualify to compete in the Arkansas games?
Be at least 45 years of age, pay, sign up and enter. Then come compete. All athletes that qualify for Nationals, must be 50 or older by December 31, 2018 to compete in the 2019 National Games in Albuquerque.
What dates and locations are the games for 2018?
Events will be in Little Rock, Arkansas area for most events. The 3 on 3 "Nothin' but Net" Basketball Tournament will in March 15-18. All of other sporting event dates are to be determined, and posted soon.
How do I qualify for the National Senior Games?
Come compete in the 2018 Games and in most events you must finish in Top 4 in your age category in any given event that is a qualifying event for Nationals. NOTE: Power Walking is a new event for the 2019 National Games in Albuquerque, and anyone 50+ of age can enter the National Games in 2019 without qualifying at a State level games.
If I am not a resident of Arkansas can I compete in the games?
YES, all participants are welcome, as long as you meet age requirements.
How many events can I participate in?
As many as you want, but additional costs may apply. See entry form for details, or call 501-321-1441.
What if I need help in finding a team for a team sport, or a partner?
We prefer you find you own team or partner, but in a pinch please contact us at 501-321-1441.
What is the deadline for entering the games?
Rolling deadlines based on events, but usually online registration will end a few days prior to event dates. For 3 on 3 Basketball, the deadline to enter is March 5, 2018 at 11:59pm.
What are the dates of the Arkansas sporting events?
Basketball is in March 15-18, 2018. Softball will be held in early summer, and all other events are usually held in mid to late Sept and into early October.
