Important info for athletes.

  • How do I qualify to compete in the Arkansas games?

    Be at least 40 years of age or older by Dec 31, 2018. Just sign up and enter the events you want, then come compete. All athletes that are eligible to qualify for Nationals must be at least 50 or older by December 31, 2018 to compete in the 2019 National Games in Albuquerque.

  • What dates and locations are the games for 2018?

    Events will be in Little Rock, Arkansas area in Sept and Oct 2018.

  • How do I qualify for the National Senior Games?

    Come compete in the 2018 Games and in most events you must finish in Top 4 in your age category in most events that are qualifying events for Nationals. Some events have qualifying standards. See all rules on www.NSGA.COM website.

  • If I am not a resident of Arkansas can I compete in the games?

    YES, all participants are welcome, as long as you meet age requirements of 40 by Dec 31, 2018. And to be eligible to qualify for Nationals one must be at least 50 by Dec 31, 2018.

  • How many events can I participate in?

    As many as you want. The starting entry fee is $55, which allows you to enter up to 6 events. And if you want to do more than 6 events you can, as the cost is just $5 per event to add events. Some events, like golf, tennis and weightlifting have additional fees. See entry form for details, or call 501-321-1441.

  • What if I need help in finding a team for a team sport, or a partner?

    We prefer you find you own team or partner, but in a pinch please contact us at 501-321-1441.

  • What is the deadline for entering the games?

    Rolling deadlines based on events, but usually online registration will end a few days prior to event dates. Some events will allow for same day registration at the event site, but this might limit to getting a Tshirt or not, so register early if you can.

  • What are the dates of the Arkansas sporting events?

    Basketball 3 on 3 was held in March 2018, and all other events are planned to be in Sept and October 2018.

  • Power Walking

    Power Walking is a new event for the 2019 National Games in Albuquerque, and anyone 50+ of age can enter Power Walking in the National Games in 2019 without qualifying at a State level games. Arkansas will have Power Walking as an event in 2018, so enter and walk.
