For $50.00 entry fee athletes can select to compete in 1, 2, 3 or up to 4 events for this price.

Athletes can select and compete in more than 4 events, for just $5.00 for each additional event.

Events are divided into 5 year age groups, starting at ages 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, etc.

 Recreational Arkansas Events

Football Throw – Softball Throw – 400m Walk and Standing Long Jump* COMPLETED:  Oct 15-16, 2021  (Friday 2pm and Saturday 9am) in Conway, AR at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA).   These are drop-in ribbon events.  Contact Greg for dates and times of each event.
WEIGHTLIFTING* COMPLETED:  Friday, November 12, 2021 –  in Hot Springs at Pro Fitness Gym on Malvern Ave (behind Shell gas station). The 3 events are Leg Press, Strict Arm Curl & Bench Press.

*The recreational events are not a NSGA National Senior Games events, and will not qualify athletes to attend the 2021 National Games.  These are added Arkansas sports we offer for athletes to compete in.

NEW SPORTS ADDED to the 2022 NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES in FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA :

CORNHOLE
4×4 SAND VOLLEYBALL
8×8 SOCCER
and Recumbent Cycling (for the Time Trials)

*NOTE:  HORSESHOES HAS BEEN DROPPED AND WILL NO LONGER BE A NATIONAL (NSGA) SPORTS EVENT.

PICKLEBALL NEWS:   NEW SKILLS DIVISIONS ADDED for the 2021 National NSGA Pickleball Tournament in Florida.

  • The 2021 National Senior Games skill ratings per division are listed below;
    Division I   —  5.0, 4.5
    Division II  —  4.0
    Division III —  3.5 and below
  • Pickleball will continue to have 5-year age divisions;  50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, etc.   For the 2022 National Senior Games—
    • In regards to skill ratings changing from the time an athlete qualifies at a state qualifying event and the National Senior Games, the most current rating will be used.  The USAPA cutoff for ratings is September 1, 2021, and no adjustments will be made after that date.  At the time of registration for the National Senior Games, the athlete will be asked to list their rating (as we have done in the past).  If the rating does not match the one on file with the USAPA, it will be changed accordingly.
    • In the event that an athlete qualifies without a skill rating, they will need to refer to the document posted on NSGA.com under the Pickleball sport page in order to determine their skill rating.  Athletes will need to declare a skill rating when registering for the 2021 National Senior Games.
